Dear members of the St Petersburg Ballet Theatre
I am deeply disappointed that it was necessary for me to cancel the tour in New Zealand.
I am sure you are all well aware that presenting a ballet company of such high standard as the St Petersburg Ballet Theatre is a very expensive project. Of course it is made more so by the fact that New Zealand is on the other side of the world.
Your proposed visit was creating a lot of interest in New Zealand; however some of the smaller cities were not reacting to our advertising to the level that we needed to cover the costs.
Konstantin and I spent many days trying to re-organise the tour so that we played in the big cities only. But in the end theatre availability, and your performing commitments in other parts of the world, made it impossible.
I can only say that I remain the St Petersburg Ballet Theatre’s biggest fan. We have spent some good times together and I hope there will be opportunities for us to work together again.

Dear friends! We are pleased to announce our Swan Lake performance on 26.11.2022! Its will take place in St Petersburg at the CSC Arena accompanied by the orchestra. ⠀ We are waiting for the performance, tickets are already on sale.
