Irina Kolesnikova, Prima Ballerina for St Petersburg Ballet Theatre has started rehearsals with Boris Eifman. People’s Artist of the Russian Federation, Russian State Laureate prizewinner and holder of many of the most prestigious national awards, Eifman has invited Kolesnikova to participate in his ballet “Red Giselle”. Having appraised this extraordinary ballerina’s talents and in order to display them in their entirety, the Master of dance has decided to make the Ballerina’s role more complex. As for Irina, she is attracted by the possibility of trying herself out in a new role in Boris Eifman’s totally unique, individual choreography.
